- My name is Adam Hornback. I am new to programming so I don't know much
- about it. I recently got VB and C++ but have no idea what the hell I'm
- doing. I have a new idea that I would benefit from... and because I
- believe it's good enough to make money... I might sell the finished
- program to MS or another company and make tons of money. Of course I
- would split the money with the programmer I choose to work with. Here's
- the idea for my hardware.
-
- Ever look at MTV or VH1 and say... "Gee... I wish I could make great
- looking viedeos like they can!" And I'm sure some of you even tried,
- hooking up 2 vcr's to your tv, and trying to splice it. But,
- unfortunately, it never comes out smoothly, nor they way you want it to.
-
- That's where my idea comes in. Yeah there are other like it... but not as
- well developed. Imagine you enter the program... Of course you'll need a
- video card, but besides that... I think that's it. Ok.. back to the
- explaination. You go ahead and hook up, let's say 6 video cameras to a
- little box, which can hol a max of 8. And that little box hooks up to
- your computer. When your in the program you choose New and it askes you
- how many cameras you'll be using. Of course... since you hooked up 6, you
- would click the number 6. Then at the bottom of the screen you see 6
- squares, and in those squares.. you see what is being seen in each of the
- 6 video cameras... there could be 8 boxes, or 1... depending on how many
- you use. And at the top of the screen, is a large box... right now
- showing what's in camera number 1. BUT, by pressing any of the numbers on
- the number pad, or the numbers across the top the the KBoard, the Main
- Box (or the top box) will change to show what's in that camera. See.. the
- Main Box is the ACTUAL box that will be used as the video, and the bottom
- boxs are to see what's going on so you know when to splice. it's very
- easy! AND... you can save the main box as an AVI. Also... if you have and
- avi alreay saved... and you would like for it to be added to the main box.
- . you can Open it, bring it out... and instead of pressing numbers, you
- would press... um... something else! hehehe I'll leave that to the
- programer. When you're ALL done... (here's the tricky part) you can
- transfer it in a way to your camera, or your vcr.... you you can record
- it as a regular video... Get it? if not... If you the one i choose.. i'll
- explain better. Also, the program will have all sorts of features... like
- slow-mo... fast-mo... and cool stuff... Like the pro's use! :->

- on this great project, please e-mail me at EnduringAtog@prodigy.com
-
- If you ARE e-mailing to apply... please include a resume and a samle of
- your programming work.
-
- Obviously, at least to me, it sounds like a Windows program.. definately..
- but if it also does work in DOS, that would be cool too! SO... I hope
- to hear from you soon!
